Admissions open for 2027/28

The Level 5 Diploma in Bespoke Tailoring was inaugurated 10 years ago by the Savile Row Bespoke Association who had developed the qualification as a modern-day alternative to the traditional apprenticeship.
Su Thomas, director at the iconic organisation, said on the day:

‚A renaissance in bespoke British tailoring has led to an increased demand for young trainees to uphold Savile Row’s exacting standards and iconic reputation. The Savile Row Bespoke Association and the UK bespoke tailoring industry are delighted to support this new accredited Apprenticeship in Bespoke Tailoring and Cutting. The development of this trailblazer initiative will support the renaissance in bespoke British tailoring and raise standards across all tailoring companies. The Level 5 Diploma will enable young trainees to acquire high-end luxury skills and provide the UK tailoring industry with its future generation of skilled craftsmen.”

The Tailoring Academy became the sole accredited training provider of the government-regulated qualification and has since introduced an International Program to provide the same professional standard to overseas students.
We are proud of our track record, having paved the way into rewarding careers on Savile Row, around Britain and the world, for our graduates. We are thrilled to announce applications are now open for our 10th anniversary year.

You can find out about entry requirements, curriculum and admission process for the two professional courses on the pages for the Level 5 Diploma and International Program.
