Cut and tailor your Classic Waistcoat (male or female)

Our Online Tailoring classes are popular with participants from around the globe: working from home,  supported by our dedicated team of tutors at all times, they learned to make a bespoke jacket and pair of trousers. The time has come to complete the three-piece suit. The obvious next step: a class dedicated to the bespoke waistcoat.

Once again there is a comprehensive yet easy-to-follow curriculum: we lead you through the process of drafting, cutting and tailoring your waistcoat step-by-step. You have a choice between tailoring for the male or female figure type. Starting with the draft of your unique cutting pattern, we teach you to cut and fit your garment correctly and conclude with a professional hand finish.

Entry Requirements: the class is suitable for participants with intermediate sewing experience. Prior experience in pattern cutting, tailoring or attendance of our online jacket class are not entry requirements.

Launching on 10 October 2025, the class will be delivered every Friday for 14 weeks, 10 am to 1pm UK time.
Instructions are provided for you to keep. A recording of each live class is made available to participants after each session, to enable self-study in your own time.

The course fee is £795 incl. VAT and includes comprehensive PDF literature, recordings of each live class and access to tutors between sessions. Places are limited and allocated on a first come first serve basis to eligible candidates.
